Ratu Meli Vuki - President
Pictured with Ratu Meli are his children, Esther and Peni.
Ratu Meli hails from the village of Waqadamu, one of the highland tribes of Nadi. He is married to Vika Lewaravu from the province of Ba, the largest province in Fiji.
Ratu Meli’s standing as a traditional chief within his tribe first opened the door to a successful career in the pine industry. Yet, he chose to set aside that lucrative path when he said “yes” to Vika, committing his life to her. Their journey took him more than 200 kilometers away to Suva, where Vika serves as a senior officer at the iTaukei Land Trust Board. Today, Tumeli—as he is affectionately known—works at the Church as a maintenance specialist. Leadership remains second nature to him, guiding men toward new horizons and fresh experiences.
Supporting his leadership are his deputy, Alester Whippy and Secretary/Treasurer, Sitiveni Bola.
